PORTO CERVO, Sardinia — Bella Mente has concluded competition at the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup in Porto Cervo, closing out a challenging regatta with a focus on the lessons learned and the continued development of the team.
While the Bella Mente crew did not achieve the result it had been targeting, the regatta provided another opportunity to test the boat, refine its approach and build on the experience gained throughout the week.
The team’s commitment and teamwork remained strong throughout the competition, with each race offering new challenges and opportunities to improve.
“This regatta continues to shine beyond all others year in and year out!” said Bella Mente owner and helmsman Hap Fauth. “Bella Mente’s performance was unfortunately off the pace, but as usual, we’re always learning. We’ll be back with a vengeance next year.”
The Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup remains one of the highlights of the international maxi-yacht racing calendar, bringing together some of the world’s leading teams in the waters off Porto Cervo.
For Bella Mente, the focus now turns to taking the lessons from Sardinia forward as the team continues its pursuit of performance at the highest level of the sport.
